Arandu, Pakistan Hit by Mortar Shell from Allied Forces

Pak- Afghan border Arandu village hit by mortar gun from NATO forces.

CHITRAL:  Due to fighting between Taliban and Allied forces (NATO) in the Kunar Province of Afghanistan, two mortar shells hit Arandu village, situated on Pak-Afghan border area.

According to SHO Police station Arandu, two mortar shells hit an unpopulated area near Arandu village on Pak Afghan border which were fired by NATO forces targeting Taliban militants. Hence no human and property loss was recorded at the filing of this report, police said.

MNA Chitral demands risk allowance for Chitral police.

CHITRAL:  Member National Assembly from Chitral Shahzada Muhayuddin while talking to this scribe on telephone from Islamabad said that Risk allowance for Chitral police was approved by National Assembly. He said that risk allowance was admissible and were granting to police force in 5 districts of  Malakand Division but Chitral police were deprived from this allowance. He said that I raised the issue on the flour of Assembly which was also favored and supported by MNA Asfandiyar Wali Khan of ANP. He said that I demanded risk allowance for Chitral police because Chitral is also a part of Malakand Division where police also facing great problems and they success to stop any terrorism in the district. He said that after proper argumentations my plea was recognized and it was approved on the directive of speaker National assembly. He said that now Chitral police will draw this allowance along with their monthly salary which would support their families. Hearing this news Chitral police thanked MNA Chitral Shahzada Muhayuddin and termed that he really represented and tried for their genuine rights.
