We are living in a modernized era … modern in every sense, specially when it comes to communication we see that it is far more easier now to get connected with all the people all the time. But "Are we really connected?" is the question i want to raise through this article of mine.
We are using mobiles and talk to our loved ones. There is nothing wrong about it. we are using internet to get updated from the modern world happenings and it also keeps us connected with the people of our interest. we cannot really thank enough for all these modes of communication because these all have contributed a lot to get people closer to each other and get rid of the feeling of being far away. But coming to the main point, i would like to share my feeling that i m afraid we are ignoring little facts in this modernized and connected sort of atmosphere. Using mobiles or using internet is not bad at all, using it all the time is bad though. My point is that when we use mobile all the time, its right that we are connected to some one, but in the same time we are not connected to lots of people around us. The people who are far from us are important, no doubt, but what about the people who are around us? Does it important to be far away to gain attention and being closer physically is something that makes you actually away from the people?
when we travel we see people using mobiles on foot paths, in their cars while one person sitting along them.I cannot understand what it is? Distance makes the friends closer and getting them in turn connected through mobiles and all that. I was just shoked when i telephoned one of my friends and she was busy in chatting and stuff on internet. she talked to me for a minute and said that she was busy and that we could talk later someday. i was hurt because i was ignored for some internet stuff. At the same time i thought that we are also hurting someone when we using mobiles this way.
This is all about to sit for a while and think on what are we doing!!! Life is beautiful and relations which are made by the people make this life even more beautiful. i just want to say that give every one his/her due respect and try to create balance between our technological and real lives. who is important and where is important are the questions to be resovled. just sit for a while and i am sure you will be replied.
