‘Sarah Palin,’ the running mate of Republican presidential candidate John McCain, was the most searched-for political term online in the four weeks ending the first week of September, accounting for 2% of all political searches.
She has overtaken the Presidential canditate Barack Obama who generated 1.9% of all political searches. Her popularity is definitely showing, at least on the net.
YouTube has also been flooded with Sarah Palin-related videos. The site reported approximately 130,000 clips related to her.
