Jammu, October 04, (Scoop News)- One soldier was killed and other sustained splinter wounds when an improvised Explosive Device (IED) went of during a foot patrol passed through the area in Bslnoi battalion in Rajouri at 1605 hrs on Saturday,a defence official told Scoop News by Phone.
Two injured have been identified as Speoy Akshya Godbole who succumbed to his injures and second Jawan Sepoy Shubam Khadatkar is reorted to be stable evacuated to government Hospital Rajouri. Operation lunched to sensitize the area.

Spokesperson said that based on the specific intelligence inputs about presence of hideout/cache, a joint operation was launched by local Rashtriya Rifle unit and J&K Police in General area Sukhni Nala in Doda district on Saturday.
War like stores including one 9mm Chinese pistol, two magazine, two AK -47 magazines, seven rounds 9mm ammunition, 15 rounds 7.65mm LMG rounds, 256 rounds 7.62 mm AK, 17 UBGL grenades, four rounds HMG, two PIKA, two explosive grenades, two Radio Set, one Walkie Talkie, one Binocular, one document include letter pad of LeT and books printed in Sialkot were recovered,spokesperson said.
