The popular U-verse App for smartphones and tablets now has more channels available to watch outside the home than any other cable provider in the U.S. Subscribers get 242 live channels inside their home and 202 channels available outside the home. Customers can also access thousands of hours of movies, TV shows and exclusive content on demand.
The update to the U-verse app brings 26 more channels into the fold.

For Apple Watch users, AT&T released an update to its U-verse App that makes it now compatible with Apple Watch. Customers can download the latest version of the U-verse App on the App Store for Apple Watch, located within the Apple Watch app on iPhone.
With the U-verse Apple Watch app, users can now do the following:
· Use Apple Watch as a remote control
· View their list of Favorite channels, then use Apple Watch to tune their TV to a Favorite
· Receive notifications about upcoming programming
· View customized programming recommendations
· Manage DVR recordings
AT&T is making sure Apple Watch users can use their watch for more than just telling time.
