Attackers Destroy Electricity Tower in Kohat

Miscreants had blown up a WAPDA Tower in Shadi Khel village of Kohat with explosives, other tower adjacent to it is slightly tilted, four explosives were tied to its base and only three were exploded, so the second tower is not demolished but is tilted now. According to WAPDA sources repair efforts are underway and a team of WAPDA technicians has been sent to Shadi Khel village on Tuesday morning. Kohat is sharing electricity with Bannu district, where the load is already high, miscreants had damaged four towers in Dara Adam Khel few months earlier and link with Muhammadi Grid Station of Peshawar had been cut off, now Bannu is a major electric supply link to Kohat. The Towers damaged in Shadi Khel were linked with Tarbilla.
