The Australian cricket team has been asking for getting thrashed in the field since a long time. They have been extremely overconfident and filled with superiority complex. Their words and deeds on and off the field reflected it. Every cricket fan in the world but for the Australians, will want to see them thrashed and buried in the field. Every game that Aussies lose, the whole world of cricket outside Australia would celebrate it. The ongoing Common Wealth bank Series is going to be no different.
The Series was marred with dirty incidences, mostly provoked by Aussies but not picked or implicated by any match officials. Only the Indians were found guilty. Australians also made false allegations on Harbhajan and he was penalized harshly despite lack of evidence, but the punishment was reversed following the strong opposition from Indian Board. The words of their coach off the field were filled with too much a super ego. The coach Tim Nielsen said India should stop concerning themselves with Australia’s behaviour and focus on their own performance as they try to secure a spot against the hosts in the CB Series finals. On Tuesday before India had entered the finals he said "It’s interesting how much the opposition teams are talking about what we’re doing and at the moment as far as I can see we’re the only team that’s in the finals”. He also said “It might be time for them to start looking in their own backyard” in reference to the Indians. Yes Mr Neilsen, we are looking for a graveyard for Aussies in our backyard. Aussies are now at the heights of super ego and they need to be brought to the ground. With all the provocations, by the team and the manager, both on and off the field, they would have fully charged the India team by now. What would have been a easy win for Aussies with the calm and unenthusiastic Indian team, would be a battle for pride for Indians now. With all the players heated up to see the Aussies down, it is going to be a promising performance at the 3 finals. It will have a very positive impact in the Indian team effort to go out to the field and beat them in straight games in finals, which would be as sweet as slapping Aussies on face. Everyone in the Indian team is highly charged up for the finals and a fierce fight is in making. I wouldn’t be surprised to see India taking the cup. Its not just the Indian team or fans that are looking forward to see the Australian fall at the finals. The whole cricket world is looking forward t o it, be it Sri Lanka, Pakistan, England, South Africa ….all are waiting to see the heavy downfall fall of the Aussies. Come on India, it’s a battle of pride. We have the potential, all we have to do is to bring out the true spirit in RIGHT time. Good luck India, for a 2-0 victory, but 2-1 victory will be more exciting. Aim for the throat.
