Australia made a clean sweep beating Windies in the five match series by 5-0. Australia won the fifth match by a huge margin of 169 runs.
Winning the toss Australia elected to bat first and built a mountainous total of 341/8 with fifties from Ronchi, Symonds, Mike Hussy and David hussy. Australia started with their usual fasion by some great cricket from Marsh and Watson and followed by a hurricane innings of 68 from just 28 balls while he made his fifty from 18 balls. It was the 2nd quickest fifty for Australia. After his departure M. Hussy and Symonds batted consciously but at the finishing of innings David Husssy levels the record of Luke Ronchi by his second consecutive fifty from 18 balls. He scored 52 from 21 balls before he was out by Sarwan.
Chasing the total of 342 West Indies were never been to the task and lost their wickets in a regular intervals and was all out at 173. Jhonson took 5 wickets.Luke Ronchi was adjudged man of the match and Watson adjudged man of the series.
