Jammu, October 14 (Scoop News) –– BJP State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora said that Autonomy if accepted will lead to self-rule and self-rule will ultimate culminate into Azadi. Although both the parties want to discuss their agenda within the framework of constitution but the same is not possible without amending the constitution. No separatist leader is going to accept both formulas because it do not suit to their master living Abroad. State Government is confused and centre government is indecisive. Sagheer Ahmed Report do not reflect any solution to ongoing problem. BJP reject it in toto. Autonomy resolution was already rejected by NDA government led by BJP hence there is no question to reconsider it. The same is an slogan of NC to appease and mislead Kashmir people inorder to divert their attention from real issues said Ramesh Arora.
Arora further said that J&K state should not be made as experimental ground by the centre government. If due weightage is not given to the remarks of Army Chief that infiltration has been increased in last three months and army cannot operate properly if legal protection is not provided. That means they are opposing withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Power Act (afspa). Arora said that what justification state government can give for diluting AFSPA, because it do not protect / provide legal protection to army only but it is applicable to CRPF, BSF and other forces. If the same is withdrawn how para-military forces will meet the challenge of militants who are well equipped with modern and sophisticate weaponry.
In country like United States of America where freedom of individual is given paramount consideration and equal status is given to state and individual freedom. Even in that country after 9/11 army courts were established to deal with the anti-national activities including militancy. State government has no logic to justify nonapplicability of POTA like laws. Infact Omar Abdullah is a confused politician and do not understand the gravity of the situation. Time and again Union Home Minister P.Chidambram said that J&K problem is unique problem and solution will also be unique. We fail to understand this word "unique". Some time they talk of Quite Diplomacy and we call it a diplomacy which should remain quite.
Arora said that political empowerment to all regions of the state can only solve the problem. Because Kashmir issue will be kept boiling by separatist and by Kashmir-centric leadership because 25 per cent Kashmir speaking wants to dominate 75 per cent remaining population and disturbance suites them. We feel that representation was not properly consider by all working groups put-forth by BJP. The groups have submitted their reports without carring about ground realities. Task force will not be able to do any remarkable task if the above said dimentions are not given proper consideration.
