Autumn, Ah Autumn…

Poetry From The Heart:

Autumn, ah autumn…
a season filled with splendor delights
offering the eyes beauty and colorful sights.
Oranges, reds, yellows and greens
fill the soul with magnificent dreams.

Autumn, ah autumn…
grandeur astounds to enjoy its displays
heavenly piles of vibrant leaves lure children to play
under a blue sky spotted with contrasting clouds
cause viewer’s sensations of being proud.

Autumn, ah autumn…
emitting aroma’s to explode in the air
pumpkins dot fields here and there
haystacks of heaped cornstalks stand in fields
offers a painter’s canvas to capture a steal.

Autumn, ah autumn…
ending of life displayed before observer’s eyes
waits in anticipation for spring to arrive.
Autumn, ah autumn the season of colors
causes a viewer’s heart to beat in a flutter.
