District Nazim Haji Maghfirat Shah stressed on religious scholars to play positive role in motivating general public to must administer anti polio drops to their children as at some places of our province religious clerics have been polio vaccination.  He proposed to detail a committee comprising over religious clerics and health workers to convince masses regarding black propaganda against polio drive. DCO Chitral said that we never safe from infectious diseases until we not remain our environment clean. He lamented Tehsil Municipal Administration for their failure in cleaning Chitral. He pointed out that garbage in huge number is dropping in Chitral River near Chew Bridge as a result it contaminate and pollute river water and badly affecting marine life and human life. At last District Nazim and DCO presented Polio Free Flag to Executive District Officer Health Dr. Sher Qayum Khan on behalf of Prime Minister of Pakistan. They also distributed cash award and appreciate certificates among best health workers, representatives of line department, civil society and media men for playing their vital role in succession anti polio drive in the district. A large number of people belonging to all walks of life participated the ceremony.

Obituary.

Haji Shad Hakeem of Aryan Dhab village Tehsil Drosh passes away. The deceased was a heart patient he was rushed to Peshawar through Lawari Tunnel but due to under construction work he was not allowed to cross the tunnel bound on his way to Peshawar and was returned back to Drosh. He died at Drosh and was laid to rest at his ancestral grave yard of Drosh. He was father of Muhammad Shan general Councilor union council Drosh-II. District Nazim Chitral Haji Maghirat Shah and Tehsil Nazim Sartaj Ahmad Khan also attended burial and expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Haji Shad Hakeem in their condolence message. Haji Shad Hakeem was a trader and member Trade Union Drosh.
