The situation under which Congress is reeling as on the day signifies that party would hardly claim 4 to 5 seats in state during the ensuing assembly election in coming year anytime. Sending shivers deep to spine to some small time political stalwarts by releasing imaginary feelers through various mediums of media is old political gimmickry Congress but now known to all.
Playing with sentiments of people during the election season to score votes and then resort to worst possible trade of corruption is the basic principal of Congress, said Ab. Salam Lone a senior citizen of Banihal. He said that not only corruption but arrogance is at peak with Congress ministers, citing an example of one of the Congress ministers from his area, Salam Lone said “I am three decades older than minister but he did not bother to even talk to me smoothly but put his shoes on the table where I was sitting”. He added that he has been Congress worker by birth but now have left the party fold without informing the cadre.
Sources informed that in Banihal, where Union Health Minister was supposed to address public meetings had to return with sad mood because the reports given to him did not match the ground reality. They added that there are severe apprehensions that similar fate would be met in the area of Doda and Kishtwar to Azad, who is on three days visit to Erstwhile Doda district.
Highly placed sources in bureaucratic circles informed that one of the bureaucrat retiring in the month of March-April 2014 have decided to join politics and contest as independent endangering one of existing ministers carrier once for all. They said that all the possible help would be extended by his bureaucratic friends to him during electioneering.
Politicians are neither friends nor foes permanently to anybody, they believe in number game and possibilities are against Congress as per the ground reality. It is still time to prefer damage control as much as possible. How the Congress leadership takes the developments remains worth to watch.
