Baig deserves pity: NC

Jammu, March 22 (Scoop News) –  To the statement of former Deputy Chief Minister and senior PDP leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig, the J&K National Conference spokesman said Baig’s baseless utterances deserve no cognizance because he suffers from psychological disorder and gets into spells of unstable behaviour.

The National Conference spokesman said Baig has a medical track record of mental fits and in that state he comes out with rhetoric full of invectives against anybody and everybody without understanding or realizing what he is saying. His erratic behaviour is well known and is a sad fallout of his serious illness.

The National Conference spokesman said the party of the standing of J&K National Conference feels it fit to take no notice of what he (Baig) has said because his maverick behaviour shows streaks of lunacy and the only thing he deserves is sympathy and better medical aid. As such the party (National Conference) pity’s with his state of health and hopes that he gets the best medical assistance which cures him.

It may be mentioned here that PDP senior leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig   alleged ruling National Conference had created ethnic gap between Kashmiri and non-Kashmiri speaking people in the State and that former Chief Minister Sheikh Mohmmad Abdullah founded the Plebiscite Front.

Baig  on Wednesday  alleged at a press conference in Jammu  that "He (Sheikh) founded Plebiscite Front which created the trust deficit between Kashmiri Muslims and the Union of India,".

He also dismissed the charges leveled against him by National Conference (NC).

"Certain, false and defamatory allegations have been leveled against me by NC through an un-named ‘spokesman,’ which I totally refute,’’ Baig said.

He said "the gist of the allegations is that I have been making irresponsible and false allegations against the NC leaders in past and present. I have been advised to read the history of Kashmir and the history of NC struggle before attacking NC leaders’’, he added.
