Bali, PK hails appointment of local VC

In an executive meeting of Panun Kashmir held under the
chairmanship of Dr.Agnishekar convener Panun Kashmir, the members of the
executive committee hailed the victory of people of Jammu for their persistent struggle against
the discrimination and denial of their rights by the powers at state as well as
the centre. The restoration of central University and appointment of local Vice
Chancellor is a significant victory for the people of Jammu, he said.

Joint Secretary Jammu Province,
National Conference, Pardeep Bali also hailed
the decision of appointing local VC for CU-J. He extended greetings to people
and expressed gratitude to chief minister Omar Abdullah, N.N Vohra Governor and
Union Minister for Human Resources Development Kapil Sibal for showing keen
interest in appointing local VC to address the aspirations of the people. He
urged upon them to start the session in next few days, so that, students would
not loss another session of academics.
