Ballantine Digital SEO Seminar from New Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce

The New Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce put on a free SEO seminar presented by Ballantine Digital on October 15, 2013. The seminar took place at DeVry University’s Paramus campus. Ryan Cote, SEO Manager for Ballantine Digital, lead the seminar titled, “III Pillars of SEO.” The seminar included breakfast and a question and answer session. Ryan has been executing online marketing strategies for more than a decade.

Search engine optimization, commonly referred to as SEO, is an important way to maximize online visibility. Search engines are used by people to search for products and services. Companies landing at the top of the search engine results for certain keywords get increased traffic. When a company’s ranking improves, it is possible to attract more customers and become more profitable. As more customers turn to the Internet to find products and services, businesses need to consider their SEO and online marketing strategies.

During the seminar, Ryan reviewed three elements of SEO to drive real results. Additional online marketing strategies were discussed to help boost website traffic. Several tips presented were actionable and companies could start using them right away. The seminar also gave businesses an opportunity to network with other companies.

The seminar was developed to help marketing professionals and corporate managers understand the relevance of search engine optimization and how it fits into a solid online marketing strategy. The event was free for New Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce members and future members. Because the seminar was free, it was accessible to local businesses of all sizes. Most businesses have a website. To attract customers, people who want certain products or services must be able to find this website during a simple online search.

Ryan also spoke to the audience about how to create fresh content, a cornerstone for most online marketing campaigns. He outlined basic about YouTube marketing and how it could improve a company’s online visibility. Ryan presented an overview of Google+ and how businesses could use it to broaden their online presence. Several elements are involved when business build an effective online marketing campaign.

The audience included business owners looking to improve their website marketing and online visibility. Ryan told us, “For any business owner, having a website that is visible in the search engines for keywords relevant to their product or service is crucial.
