International Drug Cartel is using BIA (Bangalore International Airport ) as a transit point increasingly though Indian Customs officials are very alert. The latest incident involving Kenyan woman, Mjoki Susan,32 who was arrested for transporting 1.5 kgs of heroin concealed in her luggage. The consignment’s international market value ws 5 crores INR and the consignment was meant for Shanghai, China , it is learnt. T he recent cases at BIA are: a Thai student Khaektet Thithree,23, and Mwinshehe Shabani Selemaw,36 of Nigeria de-boarded from Thai Airways flight. Drugs worth over INR 10 crore cas confiscated. Nuyoung Thi, 24, student from Vietnam, de-boarded from Thai Airways flight and drugs worth over INR 14 crore was confiscated. Mohammed,34, a Singapore national was deboarded and hashish worth over UINR 77 lakhs was confiscated.
