Bangladesh Ambassador to South Korea called on BASIS President with officials

Bangladesh Ambassador to South Korea Mr. Shahidul Islam called on Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) President Mr. Habibullah N Karim on December 7, 2008.
During the occasion, Vice President of BASIS Mr. Shameem Ahsan, Secretary General Mr. Nahid Ahmad, Former President of BASIS Mr. A Towhid, Director of BASIS Mr. M A Mubin Khan were present. BASIS President dwelt upon the activities undertaken by BASIS and requested the Ambassador to take necessary initiative so that South Korean ICT companies participate in the forthcoming BASIS SoftExpo 2009, which is the largest ICT Exposition in the country. His Excellency the Ambassador announced that the BASIS presentation on Software & ITES will be posted on the website of Bangladesh Embassy in South Korea. He further assured to invite South Korean ICT Companies to participate in the SoftExpo 2009. BASIS President stated that, if any delegation from South Korea visits BASIS SoftExpo 2009, BASIS will provide local hospitality with support from ICT Business Promotion Council, Ministry of Commerce. The Ambassador went round different sections of BASIS office and appreciated rapid expansion of the Association and the measures to develop Software & ITES sector of the country.
