Bangladesh Government honors 12 Non Resident Bangladeshis (NRB) as CIPs

 

(Scooped news) Dhaka, April 7, 2011: Twelve Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) have been awarded as Commercially Important Persons (CIP) for recognition of their contributions to Bangladesh’s economical progress at their own ends.

On Mar 20, the expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment body selected them as commercially important persons (CIPs) for their commendable contributions for home nation in 2009.

The CIP honored personalities are Abdul Halim and M G Maula from Maulvibazar; Kaysor Ahmed from Sylhet; M N Alam, Mohammad Ali and Mir Selim Uddin from Chittagong; Kazi Sarwar Habib, Nazim Abedin Chowdhury and Liakat Ali from Dhaka city’s Mirpur area; Golam Kabir Bhuiyan, from Dhaka’s Mohammadpur; Mohammad Hedayet Ullah, from the Dhaka City’s Banashri and Kazi Shah Alam, from the Dhanmondi..

Mr. Khandker Mosharraf Hossain, Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare has awarded the CIP cards at his Secretariat Office on Thursday through a brief program.

The CIP cardholders will bear capacities to enjoy a number of facilities for one year from the Bangladesh Government.
