It is alleged that the nine members of Grameen Bank borrowers board is illiterate women, the Awami League General Secretary said that their inclusion can not be driven by a good goal as claimed by BD Awamy Leaguse Secretary General Mr. Hanif.
"I am certain that the nine members of the borrower women on its board of directors are all eligible," Mahbub Ul Haq, Hanif said Thursday.
"His appointment to the board of directors can not be out of good intention," he said.
Hanif spoke before the Independence Day ceremony in Dhaka, Bangladesh also supports the decision of the Central Bank to issue responsibility Yunus.
