The mutiny of long 33 hours has come to a halt. Armed Police Battalion has taken the charge of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) Head quarter and it’s arm depot. The situation is now under control. Home Minister Sahara Khatun, Finence Minister A.M.A. Muhith are helping in freeing the women and children, held hostage in the BDR head quarter along with the Red Cross and a few other members of the parliament.
After all this events, there are still some rumors flying around in the air like, the murder of the Chief of BDR and the abduction of 40 BDR mutiny soldiers by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
The army is still maintaining their post in front of the BDR Hear quarter gate.
Yesterday the BDR announced a mutiny to fulfill their various demands. So far over 50 men died in the armed mutiny.
