Begining of the End of Dictatorship in Pakistan

According to state owned media reports Pakistan Muslim League (N) has joined back the federal cabinet, three ministers from the said political party are inducted as ministers in federal cabinet, PML (N) leadership to express solidarity with its coalition partners has taken this step.

 

Federal Minister for Water and Power Mr. Raja Parvez Ashraf while talking to newsmen in Islamabad has reportedly said that allegations of horse trading on ruling coalition to get the required number of votes for impeachment of President Parvez Musharaf are false, he has said that initial preparations regarding initiation of impeachment process against him are underway, but no time frame is given to media men in this regard.

  

Federal Information Minister Ms Sheri Rehman has reportedly said that she is optimistic about attainment of required number of votes to impeach President Musharaf in both houses of legislature.

 

Pakistan’s Senate has reportedly passed unanimous resolution regarding abolishment of National Accountability Bureau on a plea that previous government to victimize politicians used NAB.

 

Senator Mushahid Hussain while speaking in Senate has reportedly said that concept of national security needs to be redefined.

 

President Musharaf has reportedly prorogued session of National Assembly of Pakistan on Monday next week at 5:pm in Parliament House Islamabad.

 

In Bonair district of NWFP Pakistan eight policemen are reportedly killed during the night between Saturday and Sunday by unknown militants in a sudden attack on a police check post.

 

According to press release issued by PRO Kohat police a grenade attack was launched at residence of Kohat University employee during the night between Friday and Saturday, unexploded grenade was removed from his residence by bomb disposal squad of Kohat police no loss to life or property was done.

 

According to state owned media reports in a meeting between Prime Minister Gailani and Chinese Premier in Beijing it was decided to sign free trade agreement between both countries within one year, Pakistan’s Premier Gailani has reportedly said that national consensus does exist regarding friendly relations with China.
