Srinagar, May 6 (Scoop News) – on the opening day of Civil Secretariat at Summer Capital Srinagar, the Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Sajad Ahmed Kichloo today had an interaction with Director General of Police, Ashok Parsad in presence of Inspector General of Police, Abdul Gani Mir, Director S.S.G, Heemant Kumar Lohia, S.S.P Civil Secretariat Maqsood-ul-Zaman and took stock of the overall security situation with particular reference to Civil Secretariat.
Kichloo directed the concerned security officers deployed in and around the civil secretariat to allow the visitor having entry passes from Ministers only after 11.30 am on all working days so that Ministers could devote adequate time towards official file works also. He also asked the concerned security officers on duty in secretariat to give due recognition to the accredited media persons/journalists for entry in the civil secretariat in connection with their professional duty. He also directed them to behave decently with the general public while entering Civil Secretariat for redressal of their grievances.
Earlier, the Minister, in presence of Commissioner Secretary Industries and Commerce Shantmanu held a meeting with the officers of Industries and commerce department and took review of various ongoing projects in the industries sector.
The Minister also inspected various sections of the newly constructed separate industries and commerce wing constructed in the Civil Secretariat recently where all the officers of the administrative department have been accommodated under one roof for the convenience of the people. The industries and commerce wing comprises of 15 office rooms including office of Minister of State for Industries and Commerce department, its Commissioner Secretary, a spacious Clerical Hall for general employees, a big waiting hall for visitors and officer chambers for other concerned officers.
