From the very starting of Olympics Games, you might have seen or heard various world records being made and broken by some or other. But the ongoing Beijing Olympics has a new record for you that seems impossible to be broken for the time being.

 So, here comes the latest Olympic record for you: (UNAIDS) the International Olympic Committee(IOC), and Beijing organizing committee BOCOG for the games will hand out whopping 100,000 condoms at Beijing Olympics as part of a campaign on HIV prevention and anti-discrimination.

 UNAIDS Executive Director, Peter Piot, at the launch of the campaign in the Chinese capital, was quoted as saying:

“Olympic athletes are helping break down barriers of stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV. They are also well placed to carry the messages across countries and cultures to inspire people to adopt behaviors that protect them against HIV.”

These condoms are not just the simple condoms; they are as playful and colorful as the Beijing Olympics. They are as happening as the most happening Beijing Olympics. You would find all types of varieties floating around there. Like there are a few condoms that are printed with the Olympics mascots.

The 2008 Olympics mascots include Beibei the fish, Jingjing the panda, Huanhuan the Olympic flame, Yingying the Tibetan antelope, and — I kid you not — Nini the swallow.

The Sydney Olympics ran out in no time, and Athens doubled the number, but the organizers of the Beijing Games have tightened their belt to satisfy the needs of Olympic athletes with the offering of 100,000 condoms.
