Causes of Fever
- Infections, Viruses, Allergies, Anemia, Cancer
- Heat Stroke, Injury to the Spinal Cord
- Flu – is the fever is accompanied by chilling, exhaustion, coughing
- Ear Infection – pain in the ear.
- Tonsillitis – fever is also accompanied by sore throat
- Bronchitis and Pneumonia – if fever is accompanied by painful coughing.
- Sinusitis – if fever is accompanied by pain and pressure around your eyes. Headache and Congestion.
Treatment for Fever:
- The number one treatment for fever is to find out what is causing the fever and to remedy it first.
- Sponge bath or bathing the body in water with a temperature of 29.4° to 32.2°C.
- Taking of drugs like aspirin and acetaminophen – it act by cooling the body by increasing sweating and by dilating blood vessels near the surface of the skin.
- Drinking plenty of water or natural fruit juices
- Bee Propolis – a natural antibiotic that will help kill bacteria and viruses that is causing the fever.

- Fever is a good thing because it is the body natural response to fighting diseases, fever occur when our blood and lymphatic systems produced white blood cells which are fighting the bacteria and viruses that is causing the sickness. Other than fever, the other factor that can affect the body temperature:
- Time of the day – body temperature normally fluctuates over the day, with the lowest levels at 4a.m and the highest at 6 p.m. That’s why a normal body temperature of 37.5°C (99.5°F) is considered a fever in the morning, but just normal body temperature in the afternoon.
- Menstrual cycle is another factor that can affect body temperature. When the woman is ovulating her body temperature is higher that when she is not ovulating.
- Psychological factors – when a person is experiencing tension, his/her body temperature rises.
- Body temperature also rises even after few hours after a heavy workout (muscle are working to burn fats) and after eating.
