Beyonce’s Mrs. Carter Show Tour

In February 2013, superstar recording artist Beyonce Knowles announced her fifth world tour The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour’ referencing her marriage to Shawn Jay-Z’ Carter.

The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour began on April, 15, 2013 and has since been creating waves in each & every city it has been scheduled to land in. Not only does Beyonce’s voice demand attention but her dance moves and grand outfits have also caught the eye of many critics who always sound eager to praise her ability to put on a show. The Australia leg of Beyonce’s tour kicked off in Melbourne on the 22nd of October followed by a stop in Brisbane on the 28th and 29th of October and the concert is scheduled to appear in the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on November 6th. This will be followed by a stop at the Perth Arena on the 8th and 9th of November after which the tour will move on to North America.

Fans everywhere are being wowed by flame throwers, lasers, wind machines and more, as Beyonce has pulled out all the stops. She chose New Orleans’ native R&B sensation Luke James, to kick-start the Mrs. Carter Concert, who considers it an “unimaginable honor”. Aside for Luke James, Beyonce’s outfits have also been getting a lot of jaw dropping attention. She worked with a list of famous designers to fashion some of her most beautiful and flamboyant outfits yet, the likes of which include-, the Blonds, who designed a bodysuit that celebrates the female form, which is by far Beyonce’s raciest outfit; David Koma, Alon Livne, Givenchy, Emilio Pucci and more.

The show begins with a black and white video depicting Beyonce playing Marie Antoinette surrounded by her devoted subjects and as the screen is lifted, a white clad Beyonce begins a rendition of Run the World’. Beyonce then goes on to perform other hits such as- End of time’, Flaws and All’ and even Survivor’ by her former group Destiny’s Child. Towards the end, she chose to close the concert with Halo’.

Beyonce aims to prove that Girls’ run the world as there are only two male backup dancers in her crew, the Les Twins, while the rest of the crew members are female and her band and backup singers (The sugar Mamas) are also all of the fairer sex. Beyonce also makes it a point to interact with lucky VIP ticket holders who hold the best seats in the house, at the front. Special moments include her rendition of I Will Always Love You’ by Whitney Houston and the visual accompaniments which displays Beyonce’s belief in strong feminine empowerment, depicting her as- a Tribal leader, temptress and even the all American girl next door.

The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour will end in December on the 22nd at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY. Fans lucky enough to have bought the tickets are raving about the concert and so are the music critics around the world, the most fascinating point of which being that even with all the added theatrics nothing draws the attention from Beyonce and her voice, which truly does mark her as the “Queen Bey” of the music industry.
