Bhalla pays obeisance at Zaisshtha Devi temple & pray for peace in J&K

 

Srinagar,June 02 (Scoop News) –  The Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation,  Raman Bhalla visited the shrine of  Mata Zeashta Devi and paid obeisance. He prayed for peace in the country particularly in the State for ensuring progress and prosperity.

To celebrate the birth day of Mata Zeashta Devi , a Maha yagya was organized by the Zeashtadevi  Parbandhak Committee at the Zeethyar  in Srinagar Kashmir today. The Yagya   began yesterday and concluded  with Puran ahuti. After Puran  Ahuti Prasad was served to the devotees present on the occasion.

            Speaking on the occasion Raman Bhalla said that the State is world famous for its composite culture and communal harmony . He appealed the gathering to put their best in maintaining aged old brotherhood and communal harmony in the State.

 

            The temple was thrown open for public by leading scholar of the community, Omkar Nath and the function was inaugurated by Amarnath Vaishnavi besides president Kashmiri Samiti Delhi  Rakesh koul was also present on the occasion.

            A large number of the devotees from the valley and outside visited the ne to seek blessings of Mata Zeashta. Tha Maha Yagya was solemnized under the auspices of Omkar Nath Ji, Who also delivered religious discourse on the occasion.

            The committee has also made elaborate arrangements for comfortable stay and dinner for the inmates of Old Age Home, Amphalla, Jammu who also visited the ne and participated in the Yagya.

            The President of the Sanstha, B.B. Bhat expressed thanks for the yatries, guests, and both electronic and print media besides State Government for extending their full cooperation in the smooth conduct of the Yagya.
