Bharatiya matdata manch is the voice of common people. The common people in our country feel that the Indian democracy and democratic institutions are being hijacked by the so called feudal forces, those are inherited diseases of British imperialism. British imperialistic exploiter instruments were in habit of destroying the wellbeing and harmony between the common people of our country by playing the caste and communal cards.
The british imperialistic temptations were being fulfilled and supported by the feudal forces at that time. These forces were of cource from our own country and are still alive .The fact is that these forces became powerful day by day in contemporary India. These feudal forces are playing same cards and tactics to destroy the real cause, concept and practical existence of democracy .It is a pity that in words, democracy prevails in our country but in fact we find that the feudal forces have occupied each and every instrument of democracy.
Bharatiya matdata manch is willing to propose actual solutions for the prevalent problems and challenges in making the Indian democracy a leading and dignified democracy in the world. Since 1952 when the first general elections in free India took place under peoples representative act 1951 the things have deteriorated .Fourteen general elections have been conducted between 1951-2004 and gradually the democracy has matured. This is in fact one side of the coin, the other side shows evident evidences of the Indian democracy being in great danger The anti democratic feudal forces are playing a big role and are destroying the real motto of democracy and that is EQUALITY,LIBERTY AND FATTERNITY.
A democratic set up means that the govern-ment by the people, of the people and for the people. Every single individual of a democratic country enjoys equal rights and enjoys equal share of the joy of being a citizen of a democratic state.
The fact is that the common man of this country is the real protector of democracy in our country because he feels that to caste a vote is his national duty, but the elite aristocratic class in this country only takes the benefit of democracy but very seldom try to do justice with their duty for democracy. On the other hand the common man feels that democracy is the only way through which they could survive with dignity and fulfill all their dreams. The diff-erence in the approach we feel is the biggest hurdle in the way of a healthy democracy.
Bharatiya matdata manch diagnosed these prevailing Hippocratic approaches of different beneficiary classes and found that there is a need of its initiative for electoral reforms and to reach up to differ-ent classes with a new vision. Bharatiya matdata manch requests to every democracy loving person on the globe to prevail democracy and to protect the common man’s free voice. Our initiative to give the democracy it”s glory to the fullest will go on and it will be our utmost effort to aware the common man of this country against the anty democratic feudal and communal forces. We demand for the following democratic reforms for the sake of a healthy democracy and also to protect the common man”s rights in this country.
1) VOTERS SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECALL To make common man strong and to make the repre-sentatives accountable.
2)VOTERS SHOULD HAVE A RIGHT TO REJECT Provision 49,0 of the local representation act 1951 should be taken into practice.so that the unfit and anti democratic candidates could be marginalized.
3)50% AND ABOVE VOTE SHOULD BE COMPULSARY FOR THE WINNING CANDIDATE In India the caste and communal vote saturation is about 26.3% and by virtue of playing caste and communal cards the political parties are playing with the real values of democracy.
4)TO CASTE ONE”S VOTE SHOULD BE MADE COMPULSARY FOR EVERY CITIZEN It is clearly visible that certain classes in the society don”t caste their votes resulting in low percentage of voting and the win of a wrong candidate.
5) THE MP LAD FUND IS THE KEY TO INSTITUTIONAL CORRUPTION. IT SHOULD BE SHUTTERED DOWN
