On Friday, the New York Post has reported that the publishing agency, HarperCollins is in a rush to print a manuscript that was recently received from the Benazir Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The publisher hopes to have her book titled “Reconciliation: Islam, Democracy and the West” out in stores by February. The New York Post is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.
Before returning to Pakistan after her eight-year self-imposed exile in Dubai, she had received an advance from HarperCollins of about $75,000 according to the New York Post.
The New York Post also reports that Mark Siegel worked as a collaborating writer with Bhutto. But, no representatives from HarperCollins were available for comments.
