Bihar does it again.It is at the bottom of the 20 big states of the country according to the recent India Today’s States Survey.It scored less than one out of ten in seven of the parameters based on its overall performance in agriculture, primary health, primary education, law and order, infrastructure, investment, consumer markets and macro economic industries. Bihar scores at 0.74 and 0.98 in both composite and individual ranking.
A total of 32 out of 100 worst Lok Sabha constituencies are in Bihar. Patna is the best constituency of the state even though it is ranked 330, out of the total of 543, on the socio-economic index and 441 in infrastructure.
Bihar is ranked 20th in the per capita capital expenditure, commercial bank credit, capital formation, number of factories and industrial sickness.Bihar is 19th so far law and order condition is considered.
