Jammu, May 18 (Scoop News)- Devasthan Prabhandak Committee (DPC) Bijbehara in its meeting held here today has expressed grave concern over the encroachment of land of Hindu shrines by some unscrupulous elements in Bijbehara township of South Kashmir district of Anantnag.
The meting said ever since the new alliance took over in the State, repeated attempts were made to encroach the land of temples of Bijbehara in connivance with district and tehsil level revenue authorities, said in a statement.

This was followed by encroaching of 6.5 kanals of land belonging to Mata Jaya Bhagwati near NH Bijbehara, statement further said.
