Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto arrives in NY to receive the top UN human rights prize awarded posthumously to Pakistan,s ex-PM Benazir Bhutto.
Chairman of the Pakistan People,s Party(PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardariwho is the son of Pakistani Presedent Asif Ali Zardari and formar Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto,will recieve Benazir,s2008 human rights award of the UN at the United Nations Headquarters on Wednesday.
The Prize honors Benazir Bhutto in recognizationof her courageous struggle for democracy and protection of the human rights.
Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in gun and suicide bomb attack in the Pakistani City Rawalpindi on December 27,2007.
Bilawal Bhutto was received at New York,s John F.Kennedy International airport by Pakistan,s UN Ambassador Abdullah Hussain Haroon and senior officials of Pakistan mission and the Consulate General on Sunday Night.
