Among the voters of taking part in the South Carolina Democratic primary, it would look as Bill Clinton’s aggressive campaigning in the state had a more negative effect than positive. About 6 in 10 voters participating in the South Carolina Democratic primary have said that Bill’s campaigning was important on how they would ultimately decide to vote.
All of those voters, 48 percent had voted for Barack Obama while 37 had voted for Hillary Clinton. John Edwards had received 14 percent of the vote.
The exit polls also gave the indication that Barack Obama’s victory against Hillary Clinton was an easy one among voters who had decided within the last three days. This is when the news reports came that heavily covered Bill Clinton’s strong criticisms towards Obama.
Monday, Obama had said that he felt that he was running against both Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Bill Clinton said in that regard: “I thought he was running against me.”
