Abinav Bindra’s gold would have cheered many an Indians heart . Last Olymics Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore brought silver . As an Indian i am happy that we had made a beeline to the olympics gold .
Though i am happy I am at the same time filled with sadness. why cant a country with a teeming population win more medals to the country than a country which is sparsely populated .
I am aware that India is a poor country . But i feel when we spend money to send space and millions of rupees are spent on promoting cricket , we can also spend money on deserving cadets .
cadets should be choosen on the basis of talents alone . I think with the right type of training and diet we can develop more sportspersons who will bring medal for us . we should go more to rural India and tap the inherent talent of the people
I feel that NRI ‘s and corporate should pool the resources and unearth real talents than we will have more Bindra’s . we should put away corruption and all other factors and only think of her glory .
