All the 126 passengers of Hyderabad-bound Air Deccan flight had a narrow escape when it was hit by a vulture on the runway seconds before it was to take off into the air here on Monday morning. The alert pilot aborted the take off and brought the aircraft to a stall. The airline cancelled its flight and put the passengers on another flight in the afternoon. "The pilot was alert and aborted the take off. However passengers were put in another flight in the afternoon," said Mr Srinivas Reddy of Air Deccan’s local office.
