Jammu, September 18 (Scoop News) – BJP leaders today expressed grave concern over the present turmoil in the Kashmir valley which has crippled the normal life due to failure of the Congress-NC coalition to maintain law and order.

BJP,Shamsher Singh Manhas and other leaders, while addressing the meeting said that it is a matter of concern that the soft approach of the coalition government towards the anti-national elements has resulted into deterioration of the situation. The State government has been presenting the wrong impression about the whole situation by terming it as a political and Economic problem. In reality, it is the law and order problem and needs to be dealt firmly under the law of the land, they observed.

The District Presidents apprised the meeting of various programmes being undertaken during the last two months in their respective districts at district, constituency and mandal levels over the issues of Autonomy and Price Rise in particular. They also briefed about the forthcoming programmes.
Meanwhile Om Parkash Kohli, who is on 1-day tour of the State after being nominated as Prabhari of J&K unit of BJP, graced the meeting along with Seh-Prabhari R.P. Singh Khalsa, Leader of Legislators Party Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, National Executive Members Dr. Nirmal Singh and Ashok Khajuria.
Violent mob at Anantnag snatch the weapons from security forces. In the effort to bring the situation under control six people were injured among them, one Noor Amin Dagga son of Mohammad Amin Dagga resident of Naibasti, Anantnag, got killed. Six others also sustained injuries in the incident.They have been identified as Mohammed Rafiq Dar,Gulzar Ahmad,Zahoor Ahmad Dar, and Bilal Ahmad Najar,whois District President Youth of Peoples Democratic Party.Two women have also sustained minor injuries.Situation in the area is now under control.Curfew was reimposed in the town. Some police men were also injured.
