Jammu, May 31, (Scoop News)-In a meeting of the party MLAs held today at party headquarters, which was presided over by BJP State President & MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, it was decided to start the poll preparations in right earnest with immediate effect so that the ground is prepared on time for achieving the Mission 44+ .
Jugal Kishore Sharma, underlined the need of achieving this mission saying the formation of a nationalist government that believes in the principle of justice and equality for all, is a historical necessity and added that the establishment of BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir has become all the more imperative considering the nature of divisive politics the Kashmir-based and Kashmir-centric parties indulged in during all these 66 years of independence. He said the formation of BJP government will not only help eradicate fissiparous tendencies in the state but would also lead to the state’s all round development with the Narendra Modi government at the Centre always at its back and call. He expressed the hope that the party legislators will leave no stone unturned to achieve the stated goal.
Speaking on the occasion, Leader of legislative party Ashok Khajuria highlighted the importance of the forthcoming elections in the state and said the party has to further mobilize the public opinion in favour of the BJP so that we not only replicate the April-May 2014 performance in Jammu and Ladakh but also win at least half a dozen seats in the valley. He said that the target is achievable and what is required is a commitment.
State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, who also addressed the meeting, congratulated the legislators for the work they did for the success of the party candidates in the Lok Sabha election and exhorted them to start work afresh with a renewed zeal. Kaul further said that it was because of their role, the workers participation and people’s confidence in the leadership of Narendra Modi and the BJP that helped the party score a historic victory in the state of J&K by winning 3 of the 6 Lok Sabha seats. This was a victory of sorts, said Ashok Kaul and added that the party leadership has no doubt that the BJP will perform exceedingly well in the upcoming assembly election and form government on its own.
