BJP termed revocation of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) in J&K as anti-national

Jammu, August 24 (Vijay Kumar) –J&K State BJP termed PDP’s intensify campaign for revocation of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA as anti-national and the government is also endorsing the same by one or the other way. People of Jammu region should realize the gameplan of PDP and separatist forces. They have termed the attitude of government "flip flop attitude toward the issue".

State BJP Spokesperson Ramesh Arora on Monday said, that It is unfortunate that PDP has decided to intensify campaign for revocation of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) and the same was revealed by reiterating its demand for repealing AFSPA with the logic that it is draconian law.

He said that the stand of the government attitude of the government is flip flop attitude over the issue because they are not able to access the gravity of situation in the state. Especially they were exposed when this issue was raised in meeting of unified command. On one hand intellegence input says that over 200 Fidayeen have entered to this side of the territory from Pakistan and on the other hand we don’t have even effective laws to deal with the situation.

Ramesh Arora said that State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should not behave in a irresponsible manner rather should be determined to tackle the militancy at all caste as no dialogue is possible unless and until the gun culture is compelled to surrender. Recent press note issued at Srinagar that BJP threw out of window the autonomy proposal passed by the State Legislature is an insult. This stand of PDP and NC should be curbed at all cost as the same is not in national interest and BJP cannot compromise over the issues of national importance.

Spokesperson further made it clear that no move of Kashmir-centric leaders will be allow to culminate against the interest of the state and that of the country. Our state is a sensitive state and simple issue of accesion was made complicated by referring the same to UNO by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and by incorporating Article-370 in the constitution of India. Many leaders of BJP like Tika Lal Taploo, Swami Raj Katal, Satish Bhandari, Rucher Kumar and others have laid down their lives to protect the ideology of BJP and we will not allow their sacrifices to go in vain.

Ramesh Arora have appealed the Centre government to take a firm stand over the issue and not to allow any one to delute the AFSPA in any matter. Because, we cannot allow any one to demoralize security forces. The present government of the state and PDP are moving in a direction which will ultimately demoralize the forces and withdrawl of AFSP or any change in the act will lead to encourage pro-Pak elements. BJP also reiterate its stand that it is not the question of administrative importance but it concern to unity of the country and BJP will fight till last man.
