Jammu,, March 1 (Scoop News) – Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) State President Munish Sharma, strongly condemned the brutal use of force on agitating Agriculture Technocrats.
Munish Sharma while chairing a meeting of Yuva Morcha Office Bearers at Jammu, said that voice of the people in Jammu region is being suppressed by the present NC-Congress coalition, which is not a healthy development in a democracy.
Sharma said that these technocrats have been agitating for fulfilment of their demand of regularisation, for which repeated assurances have been made by the government. In a democracy, when one do not get what he deseves, he has every right to agitate in a peaceful way and these technocrats were not indulging in any undemocratic or anti-national activity. It is not first such case where government has used police to silent the voice of youth. While employees are organising protests and agitating, unemployed physiotherapists too are on roads for the last over two months and have been resoreted to police lathicharge.
Extending full support to the agitating technocrats and employees, BJYM State President asked the Jammu-based ministers of Congress to shed the lust for chair and come openly in favour of the Jammuites, who have returned them to the assembly with high hopes. He further warned that if government did not take immediate measures to address the genuine grievances of Jammu youth, the BJYM would be forced to launch an agitation.
The meeting was attended by Aseem Gupta, Sanjay Baru, Surinder Choudhary, Raghunandan Singh, Vipin Shastri, Adarsh Bhagat, Parimoksh Seth, Bharat Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Amreek Singh, Munish Khajuria, Vikas Sharma, Jaideep Sambyal, Narotam Sharma, Karan Sharma, Karunesh Gupta, Munish Gupta, Ravi Mehra and Rajinder Singh.
