BJYM demanded action against guilty policemen

Jammu, September 21 (Scoop News)- JK State Unit of Bharatiya Janat Yuva Morcha on Saturday strongly Criticized the arrest and brutal torture of its activists in Srinagar by the local police. Addressing the media at party office Jammu, State President of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Ravinder Raina Condemned the inhuman act of the Policemen including the officials posted in Kothi Baag Police Station.

He demanded the immediate action against all the culprit policemen and said that if action not taken against the culprits, State BJYM will go to the State Human Rights Commission and the Court to seek the justice.

Raina said BJYM activists were peacefully protesting to provide the medical facilities for people affected due to the bandh and the Curfew imposed in south Kashmir but police detained the peacefully protesting BJYM activists and took them to Kothi Baag Police Station where they were brutally beaten by the cricket bats and were abused by the policemen.

He said the nationalist youth in Kashmir valley is being selectively targeted by the authorities and the stone pelters and terrorists are being patronized. He demanded immediate suspension all the guilty policemen otherwise BJYM took this issue to the court to the streets. BJYM State Vice President Bharat Sharma, State Secretaries Inderjeet Singh Sambyal and Ajay Pargal and State Secretary Ishant Gupta Were present in the press Conference.
