Jammu, February 13 (Scoop News) –Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha today held a strong protest against the Union government by raising anti-Congress anti-UPA slogans and burnt its effigy for being indecisive and obfuscating the issue of the sharing of dais by the separatist leader Yaseen Malik and the Mumbai terror attack master mind Hafiz Sayeed in Pakistan.
Hundreds of BJYM activists protested against the UPA government and the Omar Abdullah led state government by raising anti-establishment slogans.
Accusing the UPA government at the Centre for being soft on separatism and terrorism, State President of BJYM Ravinder Raina said the policies of the present government has raised the morale of terrorists and alleged that political patronage extended to separatist leaders by the Congress has confused the nation about its true character and has enabled the anti-national outfit to gain confidence and reinforced its resolve in anti-national activities. Demanding the "stringent action" against the Yaseen Malik Raina Said, on his (Yaseen Malik) in India he should be arrested and booked under sedition charges and his passport be revoked immediately.
He said Malik should be put on trial for his evil demeanor and act of treason against the country. He said by taking a negative position on anti-terror laws like the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA), the UPA government and Congress has imposed a strong handicap on the security agencies in fighting against the anti-national elements and demanded the re-enactment POTA to deal with the separatism in the country.
