Jammu, February 26 (Scoop News) – The BJYM activists have to be more active now in order to make the party’s scheduled March 14 “secretariat gherao” programme successful. It was stated by BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma by addressing the introductory meeting of the newly constituted team of Jammu District Yuva Morcha. The meeting was convened by BJYM Distt. President Ajay Vaid and attended by more than 50 activists drawn from different wards of Jammu city.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the present NC-Congress coalition government has failed on all fronts and there is wide spread resentment and anger among the masses.The refugees, migrants, pensioners, farmers, educated youth, traders, transporters, daily wagers, regular employees have been seen on roads lodging their protests against the discriminatory and anti-people policies and approach. There has been protests on delay in delimitation, regional discrimination, non-implementation of 73rd and 74th amendments, insecurity among the Sarpanches and Panches. He said the party has decided to highlight the failure of the government through its programme of secretariat gherao on March 14 next month and appealed the youth in particulat to participate in it.
BJP State Secretary Munish Sharma said that the scheduled secretariat gherao programme will expose the state’s coalition of its anti-people and pro-seccessionists policies.
BJP District President Rajesh Gupta also assured the full cooperation and participation for the success of scheduled programme.
BJYM State President Ravinder Raina said that the Yuva Morcha has been activated for the successful conduct of all such programmes which have been carved from time to time by the party.
BJYM District President Ajay Vaid assured the party leaders that the there will be massive participation of youth in the secretariat gherao programme as the youth too has been misled and cheated by the government on hollow promises of providing jobs and financial assistance at the door steps.
Keshav Chopra, Gourav Mangotra, Sunil Sharma, Kulbir Charak, Puneet Mahajan, S. Ranjeet Singh, Bawa, Naresh Sharma, Sushant Sharma, Manish Gupta, Chetan Mehra, Jardeep Singh, Bhanu Partap Jasrotia, Ishant Gupta and others were present in the meeting.
