The U.S. military says two American helicopters have collided while landing at a base in Baghdad, killing an Iraqi soldier.
The Associated Press is reporting that two Americans and two Iraqis were wounded when the UH-60 Black Hawks crashed at about 8:55 p.m. in a northern section of the capital.
It is suspected that hostile fire is not the cause of this crash,
The military says it’s not known yet how many people were on board the aircraft and an investigation is under way. Be sure to stay with Hipple Patel and GroundReport for more updates.
