Those Blackberry gadgets suffered an interruption of service, Monday, for 3 hours beginning at 3:30PM EST. The service loss was a cause of stress for many of the 12 million subscribers and I do not happen to be among them.
The reason is under investigation, but otherwise the service providers are scratching their heads. Because they don’t have a clue. And if you were to ask me the reason for the outtage is that I don’t have one of those devices. Is this answer too simple for you? Okay, then let me come up with something that will satisfy your need for chaos in a hectic world.
Okay I have another idea, suppose that in a far and distant galaxy so very far that astronomers do not know of it there was a supernova burst many years ago and it is only now reaching this sector in the solar system. If that were true then other systems would have suffered similar interruptions. No, I don’t agree for the simple fact that the Blackberry is operated on a sort of pendulum system, and based on a sensitive and delicately balanced operating system so that even the smallest amount of cosmic radiation will cause it to falter. And it would make sense because these interruptions have occurred in a series just as bursts of energy might occur in a supernova. So, if this idea is true then there will be more interruptions in the near future.
That is only my conjecture and coming from the mind of a writer and sometime science fiction writer, too. So, don’t throw away your Blackberry’s yet.
