Filipino boxing sensation Manny “Pacman” Paqcuiao has been in the limelight for quite some time now. He is really a crowd drawer because of his amazing feats in boxing. He practically became the idol of everybody, from the ordinary people in the slum area to the scheming political leaders of ignominy. Pacman, who personify the rugs to riches story of a man, has completely changed from being a “know nothing poor boy” to becoming the “know-it-all nouveau riche overbearing fellow.”
The new personality of Pacman started to appear in a disgusting manner that he took a cudgel by having a spat with a known female broadcaster and even tried to shame the lady using his new found influence. Pacman was irked when he was told by his phalanx of naysayer that the lady broadcaster is critical of his lifestyles and should not be supported in his fight against Barrera. Pacman was furious that he asked the owner of the media conglomerate to fire or banish the said media personality because Pacman consider her as a treat to his good image.
The lady broadcaster, who is equally popular all over the Philippines has denied in her daily radio program last Monday, that she did not criticized Pacman and did not call for the people not to support Pacman but Barrera. And as expected, the lady broadcaster was slighted by the behavior of Pacman who tried to yank her out of her long running job as TV and Radio personality. The woman, known in the industry as a no-nonsense broadcaster, challenged the Pacman to “ease her out” and use his popularity to intimidate his critics. The people will be seeing an evolving Pacman in many years to come and so with the political leaders who are enamored with Pacquiao’s egotistical behavior. Woe to the people who look up to Pacman as their hero and pity the people who are enslaved by their political leaders.
