Brain Aneurysm Foundation, Chicago sports broadcasting legend Chet Coppock Join Forces to Create Brain Aneurysm Awareness

The world-renowned Brain Aneurysm Foundation has partnered with Chicago’s beloved sports broadcaster, Chet Coppock to have produced the foundation’s latest public service announcement.

Chet Coppock nicknamed “The Godfather of Sports Talk Radio,” has had a larger-than-life broadcasting career that more than matches his larger-than-life on-mic persona. He has been a sports broadcasting fixture on the Chicagoland media scene. In 2013 he was inducted into the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame and given the Jack Brickhouse Lifetime Achievement Award. He is the author of Laying It on the Line and Fat Guys Shouldn’t Be Dancing at Halftime and just released Doug Buffone: Monster of the Midway. Chet, an Emmy Award–winning sports broadcaster with more than 40 years of experience, produced and recorded the Brain Aneurysm Foundation’s latest PSA, after attending the foundation’s Chicago-based event Survivor in the City.

The PSA, designed to create general awareness about brain aneurysms using vital statistics, has been distributed around the country.The PSA  is reaching approximately 245 million people weekly on 9000 radio stations.
