BSNL initiates various measures to improve customer satisfaction

RK Kaul CGMT J&K Circle presenting Sanchar Seva Padak-2013 to Joginder Singh TM

Leh, January 20, (Scoop News)- To improve the services, quick redressal of customer complaints and to take stock of development and operational and maintenance issues , series of meetings were held by R. K. Kaul , Chief Gen. Manager , J&K Circle from 16th to 18th January at Jammu with the top management in the circle from Jammu , Kashmir and Ladakh areas , staff unions and franchisees.
In the higher level management meeting held on January 16, which was attended by various heads of telecom units in the circle and other senior officers, R. K. Kaul reviewed the progress of various development works and operational activities and instructed all the officers of organisation for providing best possible services to the customers specially in urban areas and evolve effective mechanism for customer complaint resolution in time bound manner. Kaul has also announced the launch of customer complaint redressal (Whom to contact) for various services offered by J&K circle.The progress of installation of new 120 mobile towers was also reviewed, Out of this 35 mobile towers have become operational in different parts of the state and remaining towers are likely to be completed by June-2014.
Among others the meeting was also attended by MK. Wadhwa Sr. G M. CFA ; Sandeep Diwan , G. M. Admn. ; A. K. Angural , GM Jammu; Charan Dass , GM Srinagar ; S. K. Bhat , GM Finance; A. K. Mishra GM CM ; Punchok Dorje TDM Leh; Avinash Sharma ,TDM Udhampur ; A. K. Saxena ,TDE Rajouri; R. K. Meena , GM BBNL ; Rakesh Kumar , CE(Civil) , A. K. Shukla , Chief Engineer(Electrical).
In the meeting with the leaders of staff union on 17.01.2014, Kaul stressed upon the importance of role of staff for customer satisfaction which are the interface of BSNL with the public and acts as a brand ambassador of organisation. All the leaders of staff unions assured the full cooperation of staff in providing best telecom services to consumers.
The occasion also marked the felicitation of Joginder Singh , TM from Jammu , who has been awarded BSNL SANCHAR SEVA PADAK for 2013 for providing meritorious services in the J&K in most challenging situations. He was felicitated with a citation (signed by CMD BSNL) , medal and cash prize by the CGM along with Nissar Ahmad , secretary & Ashaq Ahmad , leader of staff union.
In the meeting held with the franchisees of sales & distribution network on 18.01.2014, the matters like availability of Sims, recharging facilities & availability of sufficient retailers in all areas for the further improvement of customer care were discussed and feedback of status of services in their areas was also taken for further improvement of services.
CGMT J&K circle R. K. Kaul, on conclusion of three days marathon meetings, expressed the hope that with the proactive involvement of management, staff and franchisees, the BSNL in J&K circle will give much improved services to its customers. He also impressed on all concerned in BSNL to have a close liaison with the state agencies for minimum disruptions in support services affecting the BSNL network.
