Jammu, January 17 (Scoop News) – Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today received brief about the building structure proposed for Tehzeeb Mehal being constructed in Srinagar to showcase the State’s rich cultural heritage.
In a PowerPoint presentation, the salient features of the building plan to have over one lakh square feet built area were explained.
The meeting was also attended by Minister for Tourism, Nawang Rigzin Jora, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, B. B. Vyas, Principal Secretary R&B, K. B. Agarwal, Commissioner Secretary Tourism, Atal Dullo and other senior officers.
The Chief Minister directed for constitution of Project Management Group to concretize the proposal. He also directed for early compilation of DPR for the project which is likely to cost about Rs. 47 crores.
