A firm in Orissa is getting ready to sell laptop for five thousand rupees (approximately$ 115). This is unbelievable yet true.
Mr. Chandrasekhar Panda, a pass-out engineering graduate from Biju Pattanaik university of technology has devised a laptop, named iWEBLEAF, which would be available just at this unbelievable price. The main features of this are an Oriya operating system, 320GB hard-drive, IGB RAM, 10.2 inch screen, built in web-camera, speaker and LAN port. The unique facility of this is,it offers an anti-theft technology. This has passed the strict CE certification.
“This is the result of project work and hard labor of 10 month time. Hopefully we are going to receive total support from the government for mass production.”-Added Saswat Swain another co-inventor of Panda.
