Record developmental works done in MMA Govt. Maulana Abdul Rehman.

CHITRAL: Former Member Provincial Assembly of MMA Maulana Abdul Rehman who is also a candidate from PF-89 (Chitral-I) on the ticket of JUI (F) group. Maulana Abdul Rehman claimed while talking to local journalist in his election office that record developmental works were completed at Chitral especially at his constituency in the previous 5 years of Mutahida Majlisi Amal (MAA) government and he  will continue this series if elected in forthcoming election of 2008. He said that some 40 new schools from Primary to high and higher secondary schools were established or upgraded in last 5 years of MMA Govt. Status of the only Degree College for boys was upgraded to post graduate one. While new block of Information Technology was constructed with a cost of 8 million in the college.

 

Furthermore a poly technical college is under construction with a cost of 120 million rupees at Seenlasht and 80% work have completed on the college. Some 600 to 700 people were recruited in education department from BPS-1 to 15 in different categories. The most long awaited demand of student’s shortage of science teachers were solved in MMA Govt. and almost in all schools Science teachers were posted. “Distribution of free books in government schools from primary to metric class is a great achievement of MMA Govt” he added. Besides it some heavy fee were also remitted in educational institutions and necessary maintenance like compound walls of different schools were also completed.

 

Promoting health department in Chitral he said that a CCU/ICU unit was constructed in Chitral hospital with provincial fund, as well as BHU Arandu was upgraded with a cost of 10 million rupees. As well as different Basic Health Units at Chitral were running with a public private partnership with SRSP and they posted their doctors and provided basic facilities to patients. Main problems of paramedical staff structure of service was also solved in MMA Govt. An X-ray machine was provided to RHC Ayun with a cost of 2.5 million hence problem of electrification will also be solved very soon.

 

25 KM  Arandu road was included in ADP (Annual Developmental Program) of 2007-2008 while 3.5 KM black top road completed at Arandu. Besides it 4 KM Jinjirat road, also included in ADP while 10 million were allocated for expansion of Biori Road at Drosh Tehsil. 3 KM Black top road included in ADP at Sheshikoh valley with a cost of 3 million. 6.6 have been allocated for Bazar road while some other roads will also be completed in near future. 5 million for Golain road, 8.5 million for expansion and black topping of Morilasht road. A hydro power house will be completed very soon at Gobor with a cost of 3 million to solve problem of shortage of electricity.

 

He said that some 1.7 million spent on Ashriat pipe line 6 million for Jinjirat koh 2 million for Moldeh town area, 3 million for Hawn Faizabad, 1.2 for Rehan kot, 8 million for Golain pipe line have already been allocated as well as 0.45 million for Jang bazaar pipe line, 2 million for Mori lower, 0.5 million for Chumrok, 1.9 million for Barinus water supply scheme, 0.7 million for Drosh Bazar pipe line have been spent.  Million of rupees have been earmarked for Danin water supply scheme which was included in ADP of 2007-2008. Some 3 million rupees were spent on Morilasht, Atani, Kalkatak, Kaldam irrigation channels. High school of Mori Lasht was upgraded to higher secondary one where class also started. Besides it one school at Garamchishma and one at Shoghor was also upgraded to Higher secondary one.  He said that no protest was record by any political party against the MMA government in last 5 years at Chitral. He said that Chief Minister has already announced of 15 million for by pass road to solve problem of traffic in Chitral Bazar.

 

He said that I am desirous to launch a Gas store at Chitral is elected in election 2008 so as to save forest from cutting arbitrarily. He said that I also want to allocate 10 million for a hydro power house at Chitral goal to solve problem of power shortage. He said that at present 90 % water of Shashah is wasting and only 10 percent is utilizing I want to launch a project for preservation of Shahshah water and carrying it through pipeline to Chitral town. Drainage system of Chitral will also be solved if elected for next term Abdul Rehman proclaimed. He said that a fire brigade have been purchased by Provincial government standing at Peshawar which will be shifted to Drosh town as and when road opens. He also promised for establishment of a girls high school at Drosh town area. Construction of a stadium having some technical problems like free land which will also be solved very soon. He said that that different units of  health department at Chitral will be improved and all facilities would be available here locally at Chitral hospital so as to save the patients from traveling to down districts.

 

He also announced for solving of Broze water supply scheme, and potable drinking water would be provided to Orghuch area. He also assured that Singor and Lawi irrigation channels would be completed. He said that water of Sheshi nullah would be carried through pipeline to Drosh area which will irrigate thousands Acre of land and will bring green revolution in the area. He said that Attani irrigation channel was completed with a cost of 0.013 million he also announced that a Degree college will be constructed at Drosh while schools of Broze and Ayun will be upgraded to higher secondary status if I elected as MPA for next term. He also assured that a college will be established at Morilasht. “Water of Golain goal will be carried through pipeline to Koghuzi, Ragh, Kari, Kujo and Danin area both for irrigation and drinking purposes. He also assured that telephone facility would be provided to Kari and Barinus area on priority basis. Bridges will be constructed at Gankoria, Ayun, Naghar to Patti, Arandu. Ursoon high school is 50% complete, road of Ursoon, and barren land of Bakarabad will be irrigated.

 

A BHU will be open at Golain area besides it roads of Lutkoh, Karimabad, Arkari, would be expanded. While work will be started on hydro power house at Lukoh as feasibility report have already completed by SHYDO (Sarhad Hydro Development Organization). And road of Bumborat valley, Sheshiko would be black top one he added.
