Generally, these students are good listeners and quick in learning the lyrics of a song or an audio information. They generally learn by reciting the data and are frequent in doing soliloquy. It has been proved that the temporal lobe of such people is more powerful than the rest of their brain. They enjoy both listening to the spoken words and reading them. They have excellent communication skills, and prefer to write the exam paper in their own language. Here are the basic characteristics of a verbal learner: Usually, has an excellent memory Habitual of rereading and rewriting notes Loves learning new words Enjoys role-playing when learning new concepts Excellent at word games and tongue twisters Kinesthetic Learners These students learn by moving their body and making use of different facial expressions. They enjoy manipulating any object and mimicking others. Apart from this, they are active participators in practical learning activities. The cerebellum and the motor cortex are responsible for such physical movement processes. Characteristics of a kinesthetic learner include the following: Enjoys many kinds of arts Hands-on learning is an effective tool for them Reading or reciting while walking back and forth helps them learn better Logical Learners These folks tend to show some innate skills at mathematical and logical reasoning. They can solve number problems with ease and look for logic in everything they read or do. Such students generally find it problematic to learn the topics that have no implication in their practical life. They attempt to classify and organize everything because it helps their brain to retain information better. The parietal lobes, especially the left one, are responsible for driving such logical thinking. Characteristics of a logical learner include the following: Enjoys strategy games Classifies and regroups objects Likes to give logical answers High-level reasoning skills Likes number games and brain teasers Focuses on statistics By now you must have identified which category you belong to.
